Real help, wherever you live

How to Find Real Help

This page is real.

If someone is hurting your body, threatening you, or breaking the law — that is never yours to handle alone. Tell a trusted adult straight away, and if you are in danger right now, call your local emergency number. And if everything has started to feel too dark to carry — you are not a burden, and you are not alone. Please tell someone today.

Three steps that always work, anywhere

  1. Tell one trusted adult — a teacher, a school counsellor, a librarian, a doctor, or a friend’s parent all count.
  2. If it’s an emergency, call your country’s emergency number.
  3. If you can’t reach anyone, one of the lines below can help. You never need the “right words.”
