Prof. CK Wong, JP developed the ICAN Practical Psychology Model, which is grounded in scientific research and core values. He has actively promoted psychological wellness training for both adults and children throughout the Greater Bay Area in Asia, contributing to social harmony in the region. The ICAN Practical Psychology Model has received recognition as a "Designated Research Demonstration Unit in Medical Research" from the China Association of International Authoritative Experts. Additionally, it was awarded a Gold Medal at the China International Patent and Famous Brand Expo, an event sponsored by the State Intellectual Property Office.

Prof. Wong has devoted over 30 years to training medical students and psychiatric specialists. Throughout his career, he has conducted more than 4,000 lectures and seminars for both professionals and the general public.

Prof. Wong is regularly invited by government agencies and business organisations to deliver lectures and workshops on various topics, including mental health improvement, stress and crisis management, leadership development, team building, and communication skills. He has also appeared in over 600 television programs focusing on children, families, and mental health, and hosted "Parenting," a special series on Radio Television Hong Kong, for 12 years.

Prof. Wong has been invited as a psychiatric expert witness in more than 1,200 High Court civil and criminal proceedings.In terms of publications, Prof. Wong has published more than 60 psychiatric research reports and professional articles in professional medical magazines and has written several series of books on improving psychological quality, mental health, and parenting.

More than 30 years ago, while serving as Chairman and Professor of the Department of Psychiatry in the Faculty of Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Prof. CK Wong, JP, developed the ICAN Practical Psychology Model (ICAN Model). This science-based and values-driven approach integrates scientific and academic theories from psychotherapy, motivational psychology, and developmental psychology.

For over two decades, Prof. CK Wong has been dedicated to sharing this knowledge across all sectors of society in the Greater Bay Area in Asia through various mental health education programs, methods, and tools based on the ICAN Model. His goal has been to make mental health education accessible to more people, thereby improving the overall psychological wellbeing of society.

Throughout this period, Prof. CK Wong has provided mental health education to more than 400,000 adults and students in the Greater Bay Area through various programs.
